I am reminded how in the face of disappointment and clouds, JESUS is! He is the sunshine after the rain. Joy in the midst of pain. Hope when it feels lost. May you experience the depth of His love, the warmth of His marvelous presence that comes from HIM alone when all else feels like sinking sand. May He alone strengthen our hearts as we wait on Him and look to Him. Then and only is it possible to run and not be weary, walk, and not faint. With Love, Dana

Turn up the music! :) Changed it again.

Finally an update. I changed my music again.

Okay so the photo uploaded was too small for some reason. It has been a long time since I updated this thing. The trip I was going to go on again to England was canceled. I was going to teach overseas, but the most sensible thing was to stay home and try finishing up my Masters. Come this fall I will have be about 3 classes away from finishing. I never thought I'd see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Our help, praise be to God is in the Lord. "Not by Might, Not by Power, But by My Spirit, Says the Lord!" [Zech. 4:6]. Too many times we can become so worn out doing things in our own might. The struggling sometimes wears us and tears up the peace in our own souls. Then Jesus' words tugs at our hearts to come to Him............. "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Mt. 11:28) He is our rest in a restless world. He is firm grounding, when dreams or hopes are shattered. He brings warmth like the sunshine, and brings beauty to our lives like that of a breathtaking sunset. When all else seems to crumble or fail, his love never fails. His joy is everlasting. May you rest in that today, the depth of His love, His heartbeat, and in the midst of the darkest storm, He says, "peace be still."

"I don't know what God is doing. He knows. We do not understand, but one thing I am sure, He doesn't make a mistake." ~Mother Theresa

Thinking about Great Britain again. :) I hope to try to sneak a trip this summer. If you wait a few seconds one of my favorite songs should play.

Dear Xangans who still exist here,

I have not fallen off the face of the planet, though I have been really busy. I have been thinking about the promise of God and the protection of Ps. 91. No matter what lies ahead, JESUS IS. He is our fortress, our protector, our comforter, and the LIGHT for this dark world. As Christians we are called to intercessory prayer, to speak truth, to flee apathy, and to respond to the love that Christ pours out. The very people that mock and hate the truth of God are in desperate need of the love of God. They can't get a glimpse of it, until we are His channels. May you rest in His love, His protection, in the Hope of Christ that we can never be separated from no matter what the future may be. May our adoration and worship be in CHRIST alone, Dana

P.S. I changed my music, so you can hear it if you want. It is an old worship song I have known for years, but I can't help but think of it. May it be our prayer!
